On Thursday, July 14, Kettle Moraine Lutheran hosted a 3v3 soccer tournament to raise funds for the National Ataxia foundation. Former KML soccer coach Barry Washburn suffers from this disease, which slowly shuts down brain function, ultimately leading to death. The tournament raised almost $600 to further research to find a cure for this disease. 30 players divided into 9 teams played in the competition, and over 20 spectators watched the games. This edition of the fundraiser is the most successful to date, and we look forward to another one next summer.
