Logan Measner and Aaron Weiss participated in the mile, Alexa Schwalenberg in the mile and the two mile, Emily Wittig in the 300M intermediate hurdles, and Peyton Weber in the 100M high hurdles and the triple jump. The Chargers competed hard, while facing the best track and field athletes in the State of Wisconsin. Emily Wittig PR’d in the 300 hurdles, finishing her season strong, with a time of 50.24 seconds, and 16th place. Peyton Weber ran a great 100M hurdle race and finished in 14th in 17.57 seconds. Peyton jumped very well in triple jump, making finals, and finished in 9th place with her second best jump on the year, which went for 35’2.5″. Logan Measner left it all on the track in the mile, running his best time of the year, and taking 9th place in 4:32.33. Aaron Weiss gave it his all in the mile, as well, and finished in 10th place in 4:32.81. Alexa Schwalenberg took 13th place in the mile (5:25.49), and ran an excellent race in the two mile, good for 6th place in the state. Alexa trimmed nine seconds off her previous best two mile race, which allowed her to end a great freshman season on the podium, at the state meet, standing alongside the other five best two mile athletes in Wisconsin (11:21.28). Congratulations on a wonderful season, KML state competitors!
