Admissions/Attendance

Current Fan Attendance/Admissions Policy:

As noted in the KML Return to Play Plan, KML is currently limiting fan attendance, in keeping with WIAA, ECC, and Washington/Ozaukee County Health Department guidance regarding the need to limit event attendance numbers.

  • KML will allow “essential staff” (coaches, players, score table officials, sideline workers, event volunteers, etc.) to be present for events. In addition to essential staff, KML allows for spectators to attend in limited numbers.
    • Two spectators* per student-athlete will be allowed for indoor events. *See each sport section for MULTI-SCHOOL INVITATIONALS, as special fan restrictions may apply for events featuring more than two teams.
      • Attending spectators must have a pass, and must present that pass to KML event staff.
      • Please note that pass holders are to attend a single level event only. For example, pass holders are to attend ONLY the level (V, JV, JV2) of their student-athlete, at KML, and when we are visitors. This means that JV2/JV are asked to depart after the given event, and V pass holders are to show up no more than 15 minutes before the game’s start time.
        • Please know that some schools may further limit attendance and KML will communicate those restrictions out, if applicable.
        • ECC (conference) passes, per the given sport, corresponding to the level of the student-athlete, will be accepted at all ECC (conference) events.
        • Schools without passes should make KML Activities Director, Joe Greefkes, aware of the situation well in advance of the event, and should provide a pass list.
    • Four spectators* per student-athlete will be allowed for outdoor events.*See each sport section for MULTI-SCHOOL INVITATIONALS, as special fan restrictions may apply for events featuring more than two teams.
      • Attending spectators must have a pass, and must present that pass to KML event staff.
      • Please note that pass holders are to attend a single level event only. • Please know that some schools may further limit attendance and KML will communicate those restrictions out, if applicable.
        • Guests to KML are to follow these same guidelines and present passes (if applicable) to the KML “pass checker(s)”. If a guest school has not issued passes, fans attending games should make KML “pass checker(s)” aware.
          • Schools without passes should make KML Activities Director, Joe Greefkes, aware of the situation well in advance of the event, and should provide a pass list.
            • AD’s are encouraged to communicate this information in advance of the event.
        • ECC (conference) passes, per the given sport, corresponding to the level of the student-athlete, will be accepted at all ECC (conference) events.
  • Only pass holders who present a fall sports season pass (see above) will be admitted to KML events.
  • KML will NOT be taking admissions for HOME GUESTS (KML fans) during any home events in the fall season.
    • KML families with a FALL SEASON pass, which is only given to fall student-athletes (2 indoor/4 outdoor), will be admitted for FREE to every home competition (conference, non-conference, and invites).
  • KML will NOT be taking admissions for VISITING GUESTS, other than if WIAA postseason events occur.
    • ECC (conference) guests will be admitted for FREE with an approved ECC pass.
    • Non-conference guests will be admitted for FREE after presenting a proper pass (or being noted on a provided pass list) to KML event staff.
  • KML event staff exchanging cash/checking passes will wear a face covering and gloves when working.
  • KML will provide as much additional seating as possible to encourage proper physical distancing.
  • KML will have every other bleacher blocked off to encourage proper physical distancing.
  • Should KML need to go down to ONLY essential staff, for the sake of retaining competition, that decision will be communicated out, as necessary.
  • Please give attention to all physical distancing/health and safety signage, and directionals, while on campus.
  • Student Section Attendance Policy:
    • KML students are only permitted to attend athletic events if they are included as a guests under the indoor (2)/outdoor (4) attendance policy.
