KML traveled to Slinger to take on a very good Owls team. The Chargers took an early lead behind 2 three pointers by Matthew Boxrud who finished the game with 14 pts. 5 rebs. KML led 27-19 at the half. In the second half it was a grinding defensive battle. Both teams played well defensively but KML struggled to put the ball in the basket shooting a dismal 19% from the floor and could only conjure up 13 points in the half but they still had a chance at the end being down by 3 with 42 seconds on the clock. Mason Knueppel, 7 pts. 4 rebs. had a chance to tie the game towards the end but his shot rattled out and Slinger came out with the win 43-40.
