The boys’ junior varsity soccer team completed their season on Thursday when they hosted Plymouth for the third time this year. The Chargers limped into the match with multiple injuries looking to complete their final game with less than a full team.
While the Chargers won the ball control game, the Panthers made good on limited attempts on the net. The Panthers scored twice in a two-minute time frame in the first half to take a 2-0 win.
While the Chargers did not come out on top of their final game, nothing can take away the work and the progress the team made throughout the year. There was a high point in the season when the Chargers were working very well together and it seemed that the sky was the limit for thier improvement this year. However, injuries began to creep into the team and the group struggled to keep the momentum going.
Even though the final game was a loss, the season was a success!
