The Charger Boys Varsity team lost a tough game at home to Sheboygan Falls, 57-73. Sheboygan Falls shot the ball really well, making more three-pointers than two-pointers in the game (11 threes to 10 twos), and a tough 1-3-1 zone kept the Chargers off balance all night. The Chargers did not have any issue scoring against the passive 1-3-1 zone in the first half but in the second half the shots would not fall and the zone became more aggressive. The Chargers were led in scoring by Zach Zuleger’s 21 points and 9 rebounds, followed up by Jacob Stoltz’s 11 points and Andrew May’s 10 point, 7 rebound effort. The Chargers need to quickly recover and bounce back as they turn their attention back to conference play to face a tough Ripon team at home, Thursday 1/11. The Chargers will look to remain unbeaten in the conference and get back to their winning ways.
