Boys Varsity Golf · Boys Varsity Golf finishes 7th place at WIAA Division 2 Boys State Golf Tournament

  Place Points
Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School 7th 154

Solomon Zarling qualified for this year’s WIAA D2 Boys State Golf Tournament and played quite well in competing with the State’s best golfers. The two-day event includes 36 holes at the challenging University Ridge Golf Course in Madison.

Solomon started with an 8-over 80 on the first day of competition. This gave him 13th place at the half-way point. On Tuesday, Sol played better and finished with a 2-over 74. His two-day total of 154 was good enough for 7th place and just 7 strokes from the medalist.

Considering there were 52 players who qualified for State, Sol’s finish was impressive.

This completes the 2018 Boys Golf season. Overall, this was a great year for the team. We will miss the four seniors who graduated, but look forward to a strong returning group for next year.
