The JV Chargers were up against Winneconne for their last game of the 2019 season. The ladies came out hard and fast. The first goal was by KML freshman Maddie Depies in the 17th minute with an assist from freshman Kalli Michaelson. Winneconne converted on their only shot in the first half which came in the 39th minute. The long shot sailed into the upper corner. The game was 1-1 at half time.
The second half started off strong like the first half. However, the KML Chargers struggled to get a shot on goal, and Winneconne got their second goal in the 58th minute. The Chargers were able to come back and tie the game when freshman and captain Kayla Kramp volleyed a bouncing ball into the upper corner netting. This goal came off of a corner kick from freshman Kalli Michaelson in the 69th minute.
Although the Chargers were able to get off more crosses and create multiple chances to score, the game remained a 2-2 tie. This was the last game of the season leaving the Chargers with a winning record of 9-8-2. To God be the glory!
