Aaron Weiss followed his coronation as KMLHS homecoming king with stellar defense and the game-winning goal. The Chargers controlled possession and created some great scoring opportunities but went goalless in the first half. One minute and thirty seconds into the second half KML earned a corner kick. Hunter Schroeder sent in a great ball, Josiah Wordell attempted a shot and then Weiss crashed the goal to net the game-winner. The Charger defense was tough to crack. The KML midfielders quickly limited the LPS attack and the KML fullbacks were equal to the task when the LPS forwards broke through. The Chargers continue a busy week with three East Central conference matches on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
