The final match of the day the Chargers faced Berlin and were able to come out with a 3-0 win 25-16, 25-11, 25-15. The Chargers pushed through their fatigue to help them charge forward throughout all three sets. Madison Fischer and Meredith Bock served 4 aces each and the team had a total of 12 aces for the match. Between putting Berlin out of system and the team collecting 36 digs, nothing could stop the Chargers. Meredith Bock led the defense with 11 digs and Caitlin Johnson had 9. Overall, the Chargers hit 0.325 collectively. Elle Truckenbrod had 14 kills and hit 0.393, Stella Zarling had 8 kills and hit 0.471 and Emily Honzelka had 6 kills and hit 0.857. With the Chargers 3 wins on Saturday at the ECC Conference Tournament, KML claimed the 2020 ECC Conference Championship finishing with a conference record of 6-1 (with a forfeit to Plymouth). The Chargers move on to playoffs this week with a first round bye on Tuesday and received home court advantage through Regionals as the #1 seed!
