The Chargers traveled to conference rival, Plymouth, for the first match of the 2020 campaign. The boys were excited to be pack on the pitch. As the minutes ticked by the KML attack began to connect more passes and find the open spaces on the field. In the 31st minute, Ryan Kaelberer found senior captain, Hunter Schroeder, in front of the goal. Hunter battled to win the ball and then pushed the ball by the Plymouth keeper for what turned out to be the only goal of the match. The Charger defense thwarted the Plymouth attack throughout the match. Junior keeper, Brandon Schrap, made ten saves to preserve a shutout. The Chargers will host Lake Country Lutheran for their home opener and senior night on Thursday.
