In their second matchup of the Washington County Quad, the Chargers faced Slinger on their home court. After a loss against Germantown, KML was able to regroup and find their momentum against Slinger beating them 25-20 in the first set and 25-20 in the second set. The Chargers had a large lead in set 2 and Slinger made a run, however, KML was able to hold them off. KML was able to keep Slinger’s hitters at bay with great defense by Samantha Kohl, Meredith Bock and Kourtney Wollner with 9, 6 and 5 digs respectively. The Chargers offense earned some key points in each set led by Elle Truckenbrod who had 7 kills, Nadia Schroeder with 5 and Alyssa Gaeth with 4. Madison Fischer had 8 assists and Samantha Kohl had 6 assists.
