KML Track Sends 6 Athletes in 7 Events to State

This year’s State competitors contended with hot (80’s & 90’s), full sun conditions to go along with the fierce competition. Six Chargers in Seven Events Head to State in Track & Field

Wonderful weather conditions enhanced the Sectional competition hosted by East Troy on Thursday, May 25. Sixteen athletes (four from four regions) compete for a top four place to qualify for State competition in LaCrosse next weekend. Chargers to Continue their Run for State

Top four place finishes in Regionals qualifies athletes to move on to the Sectional competition, where they vie again for one of the top four places to head to the State competition. Of the 18 events in the meet, the Boys qualified in 6 individual events, while the Girls will continue in 8 individual events.

Conference Track Meet

On Tuesday, the Chargers were met with 80 degree, sunny and breezy conditions in Winneconne for the Conference Championships. Both teams finished in 5th of 8 teams. The Girls scored 77 points, one point behind 4th place Waupun, but way behind 1st place Berlin, who rocked the track with 182 points. The Boys scored 89

KML Competes at Plymouth in Final Quad of the Season

The Chargers traveled to Plymouth for the final quad of the season, competing against three other conference schools in pleasant, non-windy, cool conditions. KML Hosts Lutheran Invitational at WLC

The race was tight for the top two spots at the Lutheran Invitational at WLC’s Raabe Stadium on Friday, May 5. Fox Valley and Lakeside battled it out from the opening to the closing relays, as the two of them yielded 1st place in only 10 of the 36 events. Fox Valley swept both the

East Central Conference Relays hosted at KML

Berlin swept the East Central Conference Relays Meet hosted by KML on Tuesday, May 2, scoring 119 points for the Girls and 132.99 for the Boys. In this meet every event is scored as a relay and requires multiple team members in each event, including the field events. The only 1st place finish for the Chargers

Germantown dominated the Washington County Invite on Tuesday, April 25 in ideal weather conditions and Slinger dominated the JV Invite on Thursday, April 27 in harsher 40 degree wet conditions, both meet hosted by KML. KML Faces Fierce Opponents at the Viking Invitational

Several Chargers did not shrink back when faced with incredible competition at the 16 school WLHS Viking Invitational on Saturday, April 22. The meet included 11 D1 schools.  The competition spurred the Girls on to set PR’s in 50% of the contested events, while the Boys set new PR’s in 75% of the contested events.
